Ayudas Predoctorales para la realización de programas de doctorado de interés para Navarra del año 2026
La finalidad de esta convocatoria es promover la formación de doctores y doctoras en todas las áreas de conocimiento, mediante la concesión, en régimen de concurrencia competitiva, de ayudas para la realización de programas de doctorado que tendrán como objetivo fundamental la elaboración de un proyecto de investigación original (tesis doctoral). Dicha investigación debe tener interés para Navarra de forma que facilite la incorporación de talento investigador al sistema navarro de educación superior e investigación científica.
En esta convocatoria 2026, y para impulsar por parte de la Dirección General de Universidad, distintas estrategias en las que participa, se priorizará la concesión de al menos, 1 ayuda para solicitudes que cumplan alguna de las siguientes características:
Solicitudes de personas con discapacidad igual o superior al 33%.
Solicitudes adscritas al Grupo 2 o al Grupo 3 que planteen la realización de una tesis doctoral en el ámbito de la medicina personalizada.
Solicitudes adscritas al grupo 4, área 4.1 Ciencias sociales que planteen la realización de una tesis doctoral en el ámbito del reto sociodemográfico de Navarra o la innovación social con proyectos de tesis capaces de desarrollar respuestas novedosas, participativas y sostenibles a los diferente retos sociales y territoriales. de Navarra.
Solicitudes que planteen la realización de una tesis doctoral en el Campus de Tudela de la Universidad Pública de Navarra.
NOTA: Ayuda pendiente de publicación en el BON. Fecha apertura y cierre de la convocatoria son orientativas.

ERC Work Programme 2027
The 2027 Work Programme of the European Research Council has been adopted. The Programme sets out funding opportunities, grant budgets, competition timetable and application rules for the coming year.
The ERC was set up to support excellence in research through grants that tackle issues at the frontiers of existing knowledge. It provides flexible longer-term, portable funding, and independence for researchers and their teams to pursue ambitious and high-risk research. An ERC grant is awarded to a Host Institution that commits to engage and host a Principal Investigator(s) and their team(s), and to offer them appropriate conditions to manage the ERC funded research.
Provisional Details on the Main Calls for Proposals under Work Programme 2027 1,2,3
1These dates are provisional. The Director of the European Research Council Executive Agency may open a call up to one month prior to or after the envisaged opening date or delay the call deadline by up to two months. The budget amounts for 2027 are subject to the availability of the appropriations after the adoption of the EU Budget by the Budgetary Authority, or if the budget is not adopted, as provided for in the system of provisional twelfths.
2In addition to the indicative amount from the ERC 2027 budget, ERCEA may use Union funds allocated to Member States under shared management and transferred to the Horizon Europe budget to fund, exclusively, proposals that have received a score of ‘A’ but cannot be funded due to budget constraints, and have their Host Institution – and, where relevant, any additional beneficiary requesting EU funding – established in the Member State that has requested such transfer (in accordance with Article 15 (5) Regulation (EU) 2021/695 of the European Parliament and of the Council).
3The deadlines for the 2027 calls fall both in 2026 and 2027. The year of the Work Programme under which a call is published is included in the Call Identifier (e.g. ERC-2027-StG).

MSCA Doctoral Networks 2026 (HORIZON-MSCA-2026-DN-01)
The objective of Doctoral Networks is to implement doctoral programmes by partnerships of organisations from different sectors across Europe and beyond to train highly skilled doctoral candidates, stimulate their creativity, enhance their innovation capacities and boost their employability in the long-term.
These doctoral programmes will respond to well-identified needs in various research and innovation areas, expose the researchers to the academic and non-academic sectors, and offer research training, as well as transferable skills and competences relevant for innovation and long-term employability.
Besides standard Doctoral Networks, incentives have been introduced to promote two specific types of doctorates:
Industrial Doctorates. They train PhD candidates who wish develop their skills and step outside academia, in particular in industry and business. Individual participants must be enrolled in a doctoral programme and jointly supervised by the academic and non-academic partners.
Joint Doctorates. They provide a highly integrated type of international, inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary collaboration in doctoral training leading to a joint doctoral degree or multiple doctoral degrees awarded by the participating institutions. PhD candidates must be enrolled in a joint programme and be jointly supervised.

EIC Work Programme 2026 - Pathfinder
The overall objective of the EIC Pathfinder for advanced research is to develop the scientific basis to underpin breakthrough technologies. It provides support for the earliest stages of scientific, technological or deep tech research and development. Pathfinder projects aim to build on new, cutting-edge directions in science and technology to disrupt a field and a market or create new opportunities by realising innovative technological solutions through:
EIC Pathfinder Open, open to support projects in any field of science, technology or application without predefined thematic priorities.
Deadline 12 May 2026, 17:00 Brussels time.
EIC Pathfinder Challenges, to support coherent portfolios of projects within predefined thematic areas with the aim to achieve specific objectives for each Challenge.
