Oncoimmunology
The Research Unit in Oncoimmunology develops new treatments against cancer. The main research areas are:
1. Investigation of immune checkpoint signaling pathways, such as PD-1, PD-L1 and LAG-3
2. Study of the cellular and molecular biology of myeloid suppressor cells in cancer.
3. Development of new adjuvants and immunotherapies against cancer.
4. Identification of biomarkers of response to immunotherapy.
The research group develops these research lines in cancer of lung, colorectal cancer and lymphoma, among other models.
